Jessie on a Journey
The image depicts a group of three Galapagos penguins standing on a rocky surface. The penguins have distinctive black and white feathers, with their black feathers covering their backs, heads, and tails, while their white feathers cover their fronts and undersides. They have elongated beaks, webbed feet, and a distinctive upright posture. The penguins appear to be basking in the sunlight, and the background is slightly blurred, suggesting a shallow depth of field, but it appears to be a natural environment with some vegetation visible.

Penguin Encounter in the Galapagos

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of *memorable travel experiences*? 🌍 My answer changes based on when you ask me -- and where I've just been -- but right now I'm picturing my first real-life penguin sighting in the Galapagos. 🐧 Or, actually, more like PENGUINS, because there were 14+ swimming together alongside our small panga boat, bobbing for fish. 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧 I know the borders are closed right now and we should all be staying home, but once travel opens back up again I highly recommend going to this magical place. ✨ Because they regulate tourism in the Galapagos Islands you're able to see wildlife without loads of tourists circling around. You have space to just observe, enjoy, and be astounded by what life is like for some incredible creatures in their natural habitats. 🏝️ (After watching Tiger King, I think this is something we can all appreciate!) ___ * * * #VisitGalapagos #responsibletravel #Galapagoswildlife #galapagosluxury #galapagoscruise #galapagos #galapagosislands #galapagos_islands #galapagosisland #galapagos🐢
