Nature Retreat at CocoVivo Panama

If you’re a sustainability-minded traveler, you won’t want to miss a stay at CocoVivo Panama on Isla San Cristobal in Bocas del Toro, Panama. 🌴 ___ Honestly, the word “stay” doesn’t even do this place justice, as it’s an experience to get closer to Panamanian nature. In fact, our wooden cabin was built into the mangroves, including a hammock-adorned deck for watching the sunset. 🌝 ___ Along with onsite hiking trails, free-to-use kayaks and paddle boards, playful pets, and gardens filled with hummingbirds — including the rare tiny Tomahawk hummingbirds — we loved spending time on the main deck. This is where you could dive off a second storey diving board straight into translucent waters filled with colorful colors and tropical fish. At night, the bioluminescent waters dazzles with every swim stroke. 🌘 ___ During meals, we mingled with other guests over tasty homemade meals made by CocoVivo’s founders, an expat couple named Carmen and Lazare. I can’t wait to go back! ___ Swipe right ➡️to check out a preview of the experience! Spoiler: their pets are reallyyyyyy cute! 😉 ___ * * *
