My Self-Care Routine

What does your self-care routine look like? šŸ’†This is one of my FAVORITE topics when on live calls with my blogging students. To be honest, I really didnā€™t have a self-care routine until 2019; but this year I made a serious promise to myself to STOP checking email and social media first thing in the morning and instead take time for myself. šŸ§˜ ____ How? Well, I love the @themiraclemorning by @hal_elrod, which discusses how beneficial incorporating exercise, journaling, reading, affirmations, meditation and visualization into your morning can be. (Real talk, Iā€™m still getting comfortable with affirmations!). šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø ____ I also love getting my morning ā€œpep talkā€ via @shinetext, šŸ™Œwhich often inspires my journal entries. Itā€™s one of my favorite free apps, along with @insighttimer for meditation. ____ The best part? āœˆļøAll of the above can be incorporated into my routine whether Iā€™m at home or traveling. ____ (Oh, and being in the stunning Bocas del Toro in Panama šŸŒ“certainly doesnā€™t hurt oneā€™s inspiration). ____ * * *
