Idyllic Woodstock River Scene
Despite the fact Woodstock, Vermont has been slightly cloudy for the past two days, it's still so beautiful. While wandering around the historic district -- full of 18th and 19th century buildings, most of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places -- I came upon a beautiful iron bridge with arched sides, creating the perfect platform to stare out at the Ottaquechee River and surrounding Green Mountains. The woodland areas nearby are home to Billings Farm and Museum as well as the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Vermont's only national park. Excited to explore both of these today!
