Hiking Through Tampa's Natural Paradise
It's not everyday that I get to hike through palm trees; which is why I had a little extra pep in my step while exploring Tampa's Fred and Idah Schultz Preserve. 🦋
___
The preserve is free to park and enter, and features over 120 acres of lush trails, with butterflies and dragonflies making it almost fairytale-like.
___
Actually, there were so many that if I had filmed a blooper reel, you would have seen a dragonfly zip full-speed into my head and bounce off (and me fall down and scream, then fall into a fit of laughter). #NatureIsAwkwardButAwesome
___
This natural attraction sits at the end of a residential street, so close to civilization but feeling tucked away, as nobody else was there. It was extremely peaceful, and I only had to walk for about 15 minutes to take in views of the coast, with seabirds flying above.
___
Quite honestly, it's getting to explore lesser-known, wild places like this that truly makes me love what I do! 🙏
