Hiking Through Mupu Rice Terrace in Ubud, Bali

You’ve heard of the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, but have you heard of Mupu Rice Terrace? (It’s free!)⁠ 🌾⁠ While in Ubud, I had an *amazing* driver & tour guide named Dewa (DM me for his WhatsApp if interested).⁠ 🚗⁠ Dewa was all about showing @AndyPierrePilc and me the more local side of Bali — which included taking us to a locally-owned cafe, @CarikTerrace_Warung, overlooking the Tegalalang Rice Terrace.⁠ 😍⁠ Not only that, but from the cafe you can hike for free through the stunning Mupu Rice Terrace — which also offers views of Tegalalang.⁠ 🍚⁠ If you’re just looking to walk through the rice terraces and take lovely photos, and don’t necessarily care about Tegalalang activities like the giant swing or zipline, this is highly recommended.⁠ 📸⁠ Quick note: While it’s free to visit, there are donation boxes around Mupu to help the family running it.
