Jessie on a Journey
A woman is performing an impressive yoga pose, with her body bent backwards into an arched bridge position. She is barefoot, wearing a red shirt and gray shorts. What makes this yoga session unique is the presence of a furry brown and white goat standing nonchalantly on her back, adding an unexpected and whimsical element to the scene. The setting appears to be a rustic barn or shed, with wooden walls and beams creating a warm, cozy atmosphere. The floor is covered with a vibrant pink yoga mat, providing a pop of color against the rustic backdrop. This unconventional combination of yoga and farm animals suggests a playful and unconventional approach to wellness and relaxation.

Goat Yoga on the Farm

Who knew goat yoga was a thing in New York? ___ Last weekend I rented a car and drove up to @gilbertsvillefarmhouse in South New Berlin for a @nygoatyoga retreat. This is not your typical yoga retreat, people. In fact, you'll stay in luxe glamping tents, float around the farm pond, hike to a creek at the edge of the property, do hip hop yoga under color-changing chanedeliers in an old barn and bbq with the family. ___ The best part of course is the goat yoga classes, which, beyond the weekend retreat are held weekly on the family farm. You know how yoga makes you relaxed and happy? Add a baby goat chillin' on your back while you're in tabletop or on your tummy in wheel pose. Now THAT's happiness 😉 ___ While weekends on the farm are typically reserved for weddings, they have a couple's retreat coming up in the fall (dates TBD). I'll be there!
