Flight Cancelled, Stranded in Paradise

Cancelled #flight means I'm "stuck" in #PuntaCana. I guess there are worse places I could be trapped. Just a travel tip for those wondering what your passenger rights are, typically if your flight is cancelled due to #weather you're not entitled to compensation outside of getting your flight rebooked or a ticket refund. It's smart to book flights early in the day -- which I did not do in this case -- to allow the chance to get re-booked later on the same day. On the plus side for economy passengers, you'll sometimes get a free upgrade if they can't get you into your same fare class.
