Exploring the High Line's Hidden Gems
What is your favorite High Line experience? 🚕The High Line may be one of NYC's most popular attractions, but there many lesser-known experiences to have in and around it. 🌿

For instance, right near the popular Whitney Museum, you'll actually see remnants of the historic Gansevoort Market Meat Center, or at least what is left of it (in 1900 there were 250+ slaughterhouses and meat packing plants in this neighborhood). 🍎Additionally, a lot of tourists spend time sitting on the steps pictured here, but if they turned and looked toward downtown they'd take in an excellent view of the Statue of Liberty. 🗽 While there is a lot to explore in Chelsea Market (aka the old Nabisco Factory), some fun experiences people often miss out on include having a blind wine tasting at Corkbuzz and savoring free samples at Fat Witch Bakery and The Filling Station. 🍪 And when you're on the High Line passing the General Theological Seminary, make sure to take a moment to line up the small roof spires with the Empire State Building. 😍
