Embracing Balance in Travel and Life
“I never want to settle down,” was something I frequently said in my young 20s, at the beginning of my solo travel journey.
✈️
That was when I’d leave for months to backpack South America, Europe, Asia, and anywhere else I could find a cheap flight. Money was truly something I viewed as a means to get me from New York to anywhere else.
🌎
And while I’m eternally grateful for those years, now that I’m in my late 30s, I am all about having a life of BALANCE.
🧘♀️
Instead of hopping on planes every second I have a free moment, I book less but more intentional trips—like Kyrgyzstan in June!
🥳
In between those adventures, I explore the heck out of my home state of New York, enjoy quality time with my husband and our kitties, nurture my relationships with loved ones, and give thanks that my routine allows me to focus on growing my business. ⬅️ super hard when you’re traveling all the time!
😅
While I love to shake up my routine, I’m also thankful for said routine.
🙏
