Edmonton International Fringe Festival Experience

Here's a taste of South Africa at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. While the festival is over for this year, I highly recommend you visit next year, especially as it's the largest fringe festival in North America and the second largest in the world (after Edinburgh). Along with uncensored shows, you'll find streets closed off to traffic full of live music, dancing and busking. There are also loads of great food stalls, including a truck selling green onion cakes, Edminton's unofficial dish. Many restaurants also offer special promotions to go along with the festivities.
