Jessie on a Journey
A vibrant and eclectic outdoor art installation featuring a variety of colorful structures and objects. At the center is a whimsical tent-like structure adorned with various shapes, patterns, and bright colors such as blue, purple, and red. The tent is constructed from repurposed materials, including circular metal objects and what appears to be plastic or rubber. Nearby are several signposts or markers, also made from recycled materials, displaying numbers and letters in bold colors like green, red, and blue. The scene exudes a playful and imaginative atmosphere, reminiscent of a children's playground or a surreal artistic environment. The surrounding area is a grassy outdoor space with trees and a gravel path leading through the installation.

Detroit's Heidelberg Project: Vibrant Outdoor Art Installation

Here is a just a small portion of the giant #HeidelbergProject in #Detroit, Michigan. This non-profit, open air #art gallery was started by Tyree Guyton in 1986 and featured "everyday, discarded objects to create a two block area full of color, symbolism, and intrigue." It truly opens your eyes to the idea that #beauty is everywhere and in eveyrthing, not to mention it's playfulness made me feel like I was a child again, wandering around a brightly-hued and #bizarre playground. While I wandered on my own -- it's free to do so -- they also host guided tours, educational programs, volunteer opportunities and events (check their website for more info). Highly recommend a stop here if you're visiting #Michigan!
