Jessie on a Journey
A scenic beach view with crystal-clear turquoise waters, golden sandy shores, and lush green hills in the background. A few colorful kayaks and canoes are scattered on the beach, along with some red and yellow umbrellas, suggesting a popular destination for water sports and sunbathing. However, the most striking feature of the image is the presence of several cows leisurely lounging and grazing on the beach, adding an unexpected and whimsical touch to the tropical paradise setting. The cows, both white and black-and-white, seem unbothered by the human activities around them, creating a unique and charming juxtaposition of nature and tourism.

Cows on the Beach in Goa, India

Gotta love a beach full of cows. Here I am at Palolem Beach in Goa, India. During my 3-week trip through India I encounter many of these adorable creatures just wandering the streets (and often blocking traffic) and, as you can see, on the sand getting a tan. In India most Hindus consider the cow a sacred animal, so they're revered and almost never slaughtered (in most states). What's the strangest beach you've ever been to? * ** ***
