Conquering the Fear of Downhill Mountain Biking

This week I faced one of my biggest fears: downhill mountain biking. Despite riding my bike around NYC all the time, the thought of barreling down a mountain over rocks and branches at full speed always terrified me; however, at Winter Park Resort's Trestle Bike Park in Colorado, I finally got myself to the top of the mountain (10,500 feet via chair lift), making it to back down to the base on my bike in one piece. Best of all, it was really fun and I can't wait to go again! Have you ever faced a fear and learned something new about yourself?
