Stunning Verdon Gorge in Southern France

The turquoise water of Verdon Gorge is absolutely breathtaking, and it was no surprise to learn that the gorge is regularly touted as one of Europe's most beautiful rivers. The waters are calm enough that you can easily paddle, jump out and swim, climb the surrounding cliffside for some low cliff jumping and park at the many beaches.
