Jessie on a Journey
A young woman with long hair wearing a vibrant red dress is riding a blue bicycle along a paved path in a scenic park setting. The path winds through lush green grass with trees lining the edges. In the background, a large suspension bridge can be seen spanning across a wide river or body of water, with high-rise apartment buildings or condominiums visible on the opposite shore. The sky is a brilliant shade of blue with wispy white clouds, indicating a beautiful sunny day.

Bikes for Education in Rural India

HOW A SIMPLE BICYCLE CAN CHANGE A LIFE. (#sponsored / link in bio ๐Ÿ‘‰ @jessieonajourney) โ โ  ๐Ÿ‘‡โ โ  Despite education being a fundamental right of all children, in rural India, many children donโ€™t have a safe or accessible way to get to school -- which has sadly led to high rates of illiteracy and school dropouts in these communities, especially among girls.โ โ  ๐Ÿ“šโ โ  The thing is, it doesnโ€™t have to be this way, especially since there is a simple solution to the problem: A bicycle.โ โ  ๐Ÿšฒโ โ  Not only can a bicycle make traveling up to five miles to school doable, but it can also help children arrive safely and avoid the harassment and assault that theyโ€™re often met with when walking.โ โ  โค๏ธโ โ  So, how can you help?โ โ  ๐Ÿ‘‡โ โ  Iโ€™m currently working with The Vicente Ferrer Foundation USA (@vffusa)-- an organization committed to combating poverty and inequality in rural India -- to help get these life-changing bikes into the hands of children and get them the education that theyโ€™re entitled to.โ โ  ๐Ÿ“—โ โ  The education that can lead to a lifetime of opportunities.โ โ  ๐Ÿ“•โ โ  The education that would empower these children to create their own futures.โ โ  ๐Ÿ“˜โ โ  Each bike costs just $99 -- though you can donate any amount youโ€™re comfortable with.โ โ  โฌ†๏ธโ โ  You can visit my link in bio ๐Ÿ‘‰ @jessieonajourney to head straight to the fundraiser to donate.โ โ  ๐Ÿ™โ โ  Iโ€™d also appreciate it if you could share it with anyone who might be compelled to donate and help give the gift of education to a child who may otherwise not have access to it.
