Video Editing and YouTube Tips for Travel Vloggers
You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have. ~Maya Angelou
You may or may not know but we have a YouTube Channel and post 2 videos a week. We have been vlogging for 9 months and love it as a creative outlet. It is a different way to share our adventures and showcase the places we have been. As a newish YouTuber I wanted to share what products we use and a few tips on how to get started.
💻 Products:
▪️ Editing Software - I exclusively use Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and Lightroom for photo editing
▪️ Cameras - I shoot mostly with a Canon T7i and use a Go Pro while doing more active things, and my cell phone which we recently upgraded to the Samsung Note 20 Ultra (it has an incredible camera!)
▪️ Music - I use Epicemic.com for all our music needs.
▪️ Optimization - I use TubeBuddy to optimize video titles, tags, thumbnails, and tracking analytics of the videos and the channel as a whole.
💡 Tips:
▪️ Stick to one or two topics for the channel, once you get large enough you can branch out.
▪️ Start NOW! Don't wait to get the perfect setup or the best logo, start now with what you have and get those videos out. Your first videos will suck and that is OK. You can't improve anything if you don't start.
▪️ Create a schedule that is manageable, quality over quantity.
Please subscribe to our YouTube Channel (link in the bio) , if you would like to see vlogs about our adventures.
