Exploring Outside the 303
A serene twilight scene in an RV park, with several recreational vehicles parked in rows against a backdrop of palm trees and a stunning sunset sky. The scene is dominated by a large, white RV with the words 'Cougar' printed on its side, situated in the foreground. Several other RVs of various sizes and colors can be seen parked behind it, forming an orderly pattern. The palm trees silhouetted against the warm, orange and blue hues of the sky create a picturesque and inviting atmosphere, capturing the essence of the RV lifestyle.

Top 3 Tips for Full-Time RV Travelers

Top 3 Tips for New Fulltime Travelers Frequently we are asked to share tips for new full-timers or those thinking about this lifestyle. After much debate, we have narrowed it down to our Top 3 Tips no matter your rig, how you travel, and with/without kids. 1️⃣ Stay awhile: Longer stays not only save you money in rent and gas, you also get to really experience the culture and explore the area more thoroughly. When we started, we moved on average every 4 days. We were exhausted, spending so much money in rent, and ended up missing out at locations. Now we move weekly to biweekly and have found this to be a better pace. 2️⃣ Blackstone is worth it: Totally worth the money and easy to grill anything. Bonus, the 17" one fits most RV outside kitchen stove areas. We use to carry around with us a Weber but put it in storage after we got Steve a BS. It is easy to use, clean up, and the best part is breakfast is a snap. Plus cooking outside makes for easier clean up and keeps inside the rig cooler (especially important during the summer). 3️⃣ Not a vacation: Vacation mindset costs a lot of money with touristy activities, eating out, and collecting souvenirs. Getting caught up in it all while traveling to different locations is SO easy. It took us about 4 months to settle into this lifestyle and after reviewing our budget the first few months, we quickly learned to prioritize our activities. Once you get on the road, you'll learn how you like to travel, the duration and type of locations, how often you eat out, what food you like to make, and what activities you like. It's all a big learning lesson and no one traveler is the same. ❓ What other overarching tips do you share with others that are interested in the RV fulltime lifestyle❓ Follow us for more RV lifestyle tips @exploringoutsidethe303
