A wooden boardwalk winds through the landscape, leading visitors towards the historic landmark. St. Augustine Lighthouse: Florida's Iconic Coastal Landmark

St. Augustine's lighthouse is one of 30 lighthouses in Florida. It is 14 stories tall, over 200 stairs to the top, and has over 1 million bricks. The view from the top is stellar, even for those of us who don't like heights (cough cough Steve). The light can be seen for over 18 miles out on the water. . . This was our first lighthouse we've been to and it was so beautiful. The South has this charm that is indescribable with the gorgeous trees, pops of color, and deep rich history. @ St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum
