Family Beach Run for K9 Charity

I run a 5k every month in the different states as we travel and February I chose @k9sunited Run. The whole family joined in this time, Steve and the kids ran in the fun run. This run was so unique because we ran half of it on the beach, their were multiple Police K9s from the local area, and a dog demonstration. Police K9s are special to our family because one of my sisters is going into that line of work. The heart behind this organization is so pure and strong, it made me more aware of the sacrifices officers and their dogs make on a daily basis. . . I started running 5ks back in November with a Turkey Trot in Pheonix. My goal is to run 1 every month for a year. This run marked the 4th run and I can tell a big difference in my stamina, now I want to work on my speed. It's been fun to check out what runs are available around the country. Let me know if their is a race I have to sign up for. . . I'm heavily debating joining the @theholliscompany RISE Run in December to finish strong on my commitment, and possibly the half marathon. @ St. Augustine, Florida
