Exploring Outside the 303
A man in a navy jacket is leaning over and peering intently into an open electrical panel on the side of a recreational vehicle (RV). The panel contains a tangle of colored wires and circuit boards. The man has a beard and appears focused on inspecting or repairing the electrical components. Behind him is the tan exterior of the RV and a glimpse of the outdoors, suggesting he is working on the vehicle while parked in a natural setting.

Handy RV Repairs on the Road

You have to be handy to fulltime While we were bondocking, in the middle of night, I heard a loud bang and the heater started shaking the RV. Today, we finally took the time to fully diagnose the issue. The weather has been cooler and we really could have used the heater the past few days. Steve had to crawl into the basement and lean over the hot mess of wires. (Check my stories for the visual 😅) We have a solution and can repair it ourselves without too much headache. If you are not very handy you may want to rethink fulltiming. Things will break and putting the RV in for service everytime will be a headache and very inconvenient. Trust me, we've been there and done that. Do you agree? Share below your RV repair you did yourself in the comments.
