Exploring Shoshone Falls and Evel Knievel's Jump Site
There's no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this🌐
We explored Shoshone Falls & Evel Knievel's Jump Site from 1974 (spoiler alert - he was not successful). These spots are less then 2 miles from each other.
The falls are famously called the "Niagara of the West" and are 212 ft wide. The current flow is about a quarter of the spring runoff and was still very impressive.
There is a hiking path from the falls to the jump site, but it was 100F so we opted for the local secret of driving to it. Steve asked and got the low down even Google didn't know about this spot🤯.
⁉️Do you ask locals for input when exploring, what was your best local find⁉️
