Exploring Outside the 303
A person dressed in a patterned hoodie is standing on a wooden footbridge in the midst of a lush, verdant forest. The forest is densely packed with towering redwood trees that stretch high into the sky, their trunks thick and majestic. The trees' foliage forms a canopy overhead, allowing dappled sunlight to filter through the branches. The scene exudes a sense of tranquility and awe-inspiring natural beauty.

Exploring Redwood National Park

✺Redwood National Park✺ At the end of the day your feet should be dirty, your hair messy, and eyes sparkling ~ unknown We had one day to explore Redwood National Park. This NP is a collection of 3 state parks and the national park. We were staying near the most northern section, closest to Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. While we only had one day due to a schedule conflict, we made the most of it. ✺ Howland Hill Rd - 10 mile dirt road that winds back and forth between the giant Redwoods. Do not bring your RV, for this road or is better to jump in the truck or rent bikes to really take it all in ✺ Stout Grove - 0.5 mile trail along the Smith River, it's a easy hike but take a long time to get to it via the Howland Hill Rd ✺Jedediah Smith River Trail - 1 mile hike along the Smith River with many access points to check out the river Looking up at the 300 ft trees were spectacular. It's mind blowing to look up and see the tree just keep going. A visit here needs to be added to any California Bucket List. We plan to go back in the future and spend more time really taking in what this NP has to offer. Have you been to Redwood National Park? @exploringoutsidethe303 @exploringoutsidethe303
