The kids and I thoroughly explored the Houston Space Center, learned about the Apollo missions, and toured the Johnson Space Center. Later that night we convinced Steve to drive 45 minutes in Houston traffic to get fancy ice cream at Aqua S and it was such a treat. Lastly, on our way to Louisiana we stopped at the Battleship Texas Historic Site and watched barges move about on the Gulf Channel. Next stop is Lake Charles, LA!
