Digital Nomad Life: Working Remotely from an RV
Happy Digital Nomad Day 👩💻
We have both been working as digital nomads for over a year. It comes with its challenges but it is completely worth it so we can be in amazing places all over the county and explore when we clock out.
Our set up is very basic as we don't have the space to designate as a work station. Typically, I work on the couch or at the dinette and Steve starts his day at the dinette and then moves to bunk room after the kids wake up. His "office" includes a folding chair & table and a second monitor that is attached in the bookshelf.
What is it like to be a digital nomad? Here are the most frequent questions we get asked:
💻 What do we do for work? Steve does purchasing and I am an consulting engineer.
💻 Is it hard to find internet while traveling? No, when we search for locations its always based on cell coverage during the week. We use @campedium for campsite reviews and the signal coverage map. We also have a @weboost to increase our signal, this has saved us many times.
💻What do you use for internet? We have a AT&T hotspot through @OTRMobile
❓How many of you are Digital Nomads? What other questions can I answer about being a Digital Nomad❓
