Dealing with a Flat Tire on an RV Road Trip

Its not always rainbows and sunshine living the RV life 🚐 ⠀ This counted as our 3rd flat tire. This time it was a different experience because it wasn't a surprise, we pulled over to a safe place to change it, and a few folks pulled over to asked if we needed help. ⠀ We had an issue with this specific tire before we hit the road so we were monitoring it with our TireMinder tire pressure monitoring system during the drive. ⠀ It ended up having a pinhole leak near the tread on the top. Steve changed it within 30 minutes. We plan to get it fixed once we get a bigger city next week. ⠀ When the TireMinder went off due to low pressure, we were able to pull off the highway safely to an on ramp away from the heavy traffic. Thank goodness! This saves you time when jacking up the axel with the flat tire. 3️⃣ Have patience and be calm before you change the tire.
