Domicile Series II- Choosing the state An important first step is to determine which state to domicile in. Each state has its own benefits, culture, political environment, homeschooling rules, taxes, etc. Texas checked off the most boxes for us. While it is sad to say goodbye to our official Colorado ties, we are very excited and so ready for the change.
