Exploring Outside the 303

Arches National Park Hiking and Camping Review

Arches NP Review (save this for later) Arches was the first NP we explored when we hit the road in 2019. It has a special place in our hearts. Known for its breathtaking scenery and arches, this park has so much to offer families. This park is very popular and reaches capacity quickly on the weekends. Arrive early or go later in the day to get into the park without waiting. We hiked Sand Dune Arch, Double Arch, Windows Loop, Broken Arch, Park Avenue Trail, Delicate Arch Overview, and Tapestry Arch. This park has many stroller/wheelchair friendly overlooks and even driving through the park is worthwhile. This trip we stayed 30 minutes away on BLM land for 4 nights and then moved to an RV Resort 20 minutes north. There are many campgrounds and boondocking locations near this park Our ratings: Access: 6/10 Crowds: 2/10 Kids Friendly: 8/10 Camping Near By: 10/10 Overall: 7/10 This park is very crowded at times so be aware and adjust your arrival time to accommodate. The hiking is amazing and usually you can find parking at trail heads if you wait a bit. ❓Have you been to Arches NP? What was your overall rating of the park❓ @exploringoutsidethe303 @exploringoutsidethe303 @exploringoutsidethe303
