2019 Ram 2500: Our Full-Time RV Tow Truck for Family Adventures

We are frequently asked about what tow vehicle we have as a fulltime family. So we figured we would share. We have a 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn 6.7L Cummins Diesel with an 8 ft bed. She is a big truck and we want it all. 💪We have plenty of space in the cab and the pup fits perfectly in the middle of the back seat. . We average 10-13 mpg towing and 25-27 mpg highway. Our trailer weights in at 10k lbs fully loaded, so we have no issues towing. We currently have driven ~26k miles and towed ~13k miles. . . We added a Retrax hard rollback bed cover to cover everything in the bed of the truck. We chose a hard cover for more safety and the ease of the rolling system. It's been a great cover and we have Addy stand on the cover when we need help with the bikes. . . Speaking of bikes, we also added a Rhino-rack bike rack that extends over the bed of truck. The design was ideal because we wanted to bring the bikes but didn't want to add the weight to the back of the trailer frame. The system we use is easy to use and we can still access the bed of the truck as needed. 🚲 . . What truck do you have or want to get? Before we went fulltime, Steve would have never got this large of a truck but I guess it's a benefit of going fulltime 😁
