First Camera, Beach Sunset Shots

December 12, 2021. Less than a week after getting my first camera, I still barely knew anything about how to properly use it… but I went out and shot as many photos each day as I could, followed by going home and watching countless YouTube videos about Sony and Lightroom tutorials/advice lol. On day six of having it, I went with my friends, Walker, Ciara, and Eric to go hangout all day at the beach! The plan was to stick around after sunset and try some fire stick shots during blue hour. Well I took over 1,000 shots in about 40 minutes…. I didn’t want to possibly miss anything, lol way too many. Which led to me looking through the first 2-300 and being so frustrated with myself that they were all so bad, that I saved a couple to edit and never went through the rest. Well recently I’ve been trying to do all that time spent practice shooting some justice finally! Still tons of shots I don’t like, but I’ve found a lot that I love. Including all of these, and even enough shaky video footage to make a fun little video🤙🏼 more of these to come as I finally look through some of these old hard drives and spruce them up with my current creative style! Feeling so stoked to have these memories 💥 God is good!!
