Rainy Day at the Leaning Tower of Pisa

We were pretty disappointed when our tour bus rolled up to the Tower of Pisa, and the skies just opened up on us. It was pouring!🌧️ With only an hour to explore before we had to get back on the bus, we knew we’d be soaked for the rest of the day—no umbrellas, no jackets, and definitely no plan for rain. Right away, local sellers swarmed the new tourists, offering umbrellas, but none of them took credit cards and we were out of euros. Luckily, one of the sellers finally agreed to take a little bit of U.S. cash we had on hand, so we snagged two umbrellas for the five of us. The girls took turns sharing, and despite the rain, we made it work. We were so glad we didn’t miss out on seeing this iconic building, rain and all! ➡️Follow our family adventures @eastcoast.blondies
