Embracing Family Travel During Uncertain Times

When North Carolina went into lockdown in March of 2020, I began watching YouTube videos of traveling couples and families while I exercised in the morning. I was especially inspired by @thebucketlistfamily and @karaandnate ✈️ Watching their adventures helped me escape the feeling of being stuck at home. Although we had been traveling as a family for many years, it inspired me to want to travel EVEN MORE… once we could leave the house!☺️ The strict lockdown lasted for 2 months! After that, we started traveling to places that were easy to “social distance”, like trips to the beach or hiking in nature. As things began to open up more, we expanded our travels further and I started this Instagram account as a way of sharing our adventures. Although many things are uncertain in today’s world, I am determined to make each day count and be intentional with how I spend my time. Travel allows me to really live and connect with the people I love.
