This weekend is my birthday, & I have had a mindset shift on getting older 🎈🥰    This year I'm turning 26, I know i am still young, but tbh the thought of getting closer to my 30s has always scared me. I finally was able to breakdown why I had this fear.    I have always felt I needed to be on a "timeline". From kids, retirement plans, work above all. It scared me because I started to feel I would never truly get to live my own life.     But I have come to a realization that now is the time to do exactly what I want. Society's expectations don't have to be your life. These last years in my 20s I'm travel, & experiences.     You get to choose your life, the older you get should only mean more freedom for that choice 💞
