The Importance of Taking Time off ❣️
When I first became a content creator, the thought of not posting for more than a week made me anxious. I thought my account would fall away into an unforgotten hole.
But over this past year I really have started to allow myself to enjoy time outside of social media. Whenever I go on a trip I don't post and I also allow myself to have sick/mental health days.
I know how easy it can be for us creators to be afraid of what our numbers are looking like. But not allowing for time off is going to cause burnout, can deteriorate your mental health, and not allow us to depeen our relationships
I am here to tell you that it's okay not to post! Enjoy your trip, take a day off for yourself, and spend time with loved ones! We need to create a healthier balance with work & life! Even if we are doing social media as a career
