Just because it's a new year, doesn't mean it's going to be perfect ❤️
I have had a lot of conversations these past few days and have realized a ton of us are in a weird head space. Even though the intentions of setting goals and reflection is good, sometimes it can be taken too far.
It's easy to start comparing yourself to others, and wondering why things aren't "taking off" for us yet. We can feel lost and even scared thinking about every detail of this year.
But the truth is, things don't change over night. We don't need to have every bit of this year planned out for it to be a good one. It's okay to not do anything spectacular especially with how the world is right now.
That's why I'm trying to focus on small steps each day to take care of myself. I don't need to make big strides everyday. Somedays my body just needs rest.
It's okay if the start of 2022 feels off, you don't need to have it all figured out. Sending all of you love 💖
