Milos, Greece: Lunar Beach and Island Guide

Milos Pocket Guide 🌝🌊 Went to Milos to see the moon beach with my own two eyes and it was better than I could have ever imagined. Felt like a combination of walking straight into a computer screen and on the moon at the same time. UNREAL! But Milos is so much more than Sarakiniko beach, so I’ve put this guide together for your visit to this beautiful island ✨ | SAVE it for later! 🙌 🏡 STAY We stayed right by the port at Alkithea apartments and it was everything we needed and more! You can book this stay on airbnb or directly on their website 🥰 🍽️ EAT Medusa Avli Garden the Juice Bar Mikros Apoplous (loved the Ntakos starter and Orzo pasta with langoustine and red pumpkin 🤤) 🚗 DO Be sure to rent a car to get around the island with ease! We paid 60 euros a day which I thought was a steal in the high season. We rented from MelianCars (directly across the street from Alkithea apartments) and I couldn’t recommend them more! Explore the island and don’t miss these spots: 🌝 Sarakiniko -especially at sunrise/ sunset 🌈 Klima - a colorful fishing village perfect for sunset! ⛵️ Manadrakia - another colorful fishing village with a lovely restaurant called Medusa 🪨 Papagrafas caves and beach (my second favorite spot next to Sarakiniko) 🌴 Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore the south of the island but locals also recommended to check out Firiplaka, Tsigrado (the small beach accessible only by a ladder), Asia Kiriaki and Psaravolada
👉 I would definitely recommend at least 3 days on this island, the vibes are awesome and there is so much to explore! Have you been to Milos or is it on your list? 🌚 ______ MILOS GREECE VISIT GREECE BUCKET LIST EXPLORE MORE
