Is the Monkey Forest Worth Visiting?

Is the Monkey Forest worth it? If like me you try to avoid super touristy experiences while traveling, this might surprise you 🐒 The Sacred Monkey Forest is both a nature reserve and a temple complex home to over 1200 macaques. After finally deciding to check it out after I heard locals go there to visit the temples daily, I discovered that it really is a special place and I recommend visiting when you explore Ubud.
