Hiking Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the Dolomites

Would you wake up at 4:30am and hike in the dark for this view?! 👀 For me, it was the day another dream came true 😍💭 Important info for hiking Tre Cime ⤵️ (📌 SAVE for later!) ⛰️ WHEN TO GO It’s best to hike Tre Cime di Lavaredo during the summer months especially because rifugios (mountain huts) tend to close in late September/ October. However, I would personally LOVE to visit in the fall to see the golden larches and I’ve heard hiking here even in October is lovely (just prepare for the colder temperatures and pack accordingly). Note that the weather is unpredictable and it rains a lot in the summer so I would recommend adding a few extra days to your trip in case you have bad weather 🚗 GETTING THERE If you’re traveling by car (which I definitely recommend), simply search for Rifugio Auronzo on Google Maps. Note: it costs 30€ to take the toll road up there. If you want to stay the night, you can arrive after 7pm (its free 7pm - midnight) and just pay 1 time on your way down the next day! ⛺️ WHERE TO STAY I personally recommend renting a camper van (we rented from @indie_campers and loved them!) and you can sleep right in the parking lot of Rifugio Auronzo, alternatively you can stay at the Rifugio but be sure to check in advance for availability Full Dolomites itinerary and more travel tips coming soon — follow for more ⛰️❤️✨ 📍 Tre Cime di Lavaredo ____
