This time last year I was in 12-degree weather and couldn’t help but think of the warm Hawaiian breeze and fun surf. Although there’s cold and dangerous surf in Alaska, I needed a substitute for that surf fix. I’ve tried Indo boards, and they get extremely easy after a while so was looking for something a little more challenging. After a lot of research and consideration, I ended up going with the goofboard. I was immediately hooked. Nothing can beat true surfing in the ocean but having the board was the best alternative at the time. Its portability and functionality in a small apartment made it all the more ideal. It's a great addition to workouts too! Fast forward a year later to the present, and I notice some wear and tear on the goof board and was browsing to get a different size to change things up. Come to find out, the company rebranded themselves as Ebb & Flow @ebb.flo.balance and updated the entire collection of boards. The new eco-friendly boards are made out of sustainable bamboo for the board and corkwood for the roller. This new and improved "goofboard" was a beast of its own: It simulates surfing more accurately and is excellent for anyone who wants to improve balance, core, and mental focus. Incorporating it into daily workouts are a fun way to get the most out of it!
