After seeing everyone make crab rangoons on tiktok, I craved it.😅 So here I am sharing the recipe that I tried for this crispy treat!
ingredients from @foodlandhi:
- 16 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. crab meat or imitation crab
- Green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp maika'i white sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 white pepper (used black pepper since we didn’t have white pepper)
- 1 egg, whisked (or water)
- oil for frying
preheat 1 inch of oil over medium heat | combine crab meat, cream cheese, green onion, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar | layout wonton wrapper and place filling in the center | dab the edges with egg or water and fold the four corners together | fry wontons into the hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
