Whenever we feel a slight itchy throat or just need an immunity boost, this is our go-to! Fresh and all-natural wellness shot using simple ingredients from @foodlandhi
IMMUNE BOOSTER SHOT
• 1 inch peeled ginger
• 2 lemon (squeezed)
• 1 tsp turmeric (3 pills)
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
• 1 apple or orange
• add water if needed
This can be made using a juicer, blender, or by hand. If you have a juicer, simply juice all of the ingredients together and drink up! If you don’t have a juicer, here’s an alternative way to make the shot:
In a blender, add the peeled and sliced ginger, squeeze lemon juice, add turmeric, cayenne pepper, and a cup of apple or orange juice in the blender. If blending a whole apple or orange, use a cheesecloth to drain before drinking.
By hand, grate the ginger, squeeze lemon juice, add turmeric, cayenne pepper and a cup of apple or orange juice. Shake it up and drink!
