Food tour in Venezia 🍷🍝 Save this post for the best places to eat in Venice, Italy! We did a food tour with @thetourguy and had an amazing guide, Giuliano, a born and raised local Venetian! We explored the Cannaregio and the Jewish Ghetto neighborhood. This side of Venice felt a lot more local and we tried some of the best local places delicacies such as a cicchetti, aperol spritz, squid ink pasta, and more! 〰️ Tip for eating out in Venice: the nicer the view or sitting by the canal, the worst the food gets! 😆 〰️ Another Tip: you’ll be charged a coperto when dining in restaurants which is a cover charge per person. It’s normally, 2 euro but if it’s by the canal or view, it’s usually higher. For the rest of the trip, we tried some of @Yelp best recommendations around Venice. We did not sit anywhere near the canal - it’s a tourist trap! 😂 Here are some of the places we’ve tried that is worth checking out: • Trattoria Al Gazzettino for pasta • Dal Moro’s for takeout pasta • Osteria Alla Staffa for everything on their menu • Suso for the best gelato • Trattoria alla Madonna for amazing seafood and tiramisu • Rossopomodoro for pasta and pizza • Trattoria Pontini for seafood pasta and probably the only place with a view and good food! • All’Arco for authentic cicchetti (small snacks, tapas) Happy eating in Venice! 👩‍🍳😘 #venice #veniceitaly #veniceitaly🇮🇹 #italy #italytravel #visititaly #visititalia #italytrip #italygram #italy_vacations #italy🇮🇹
