The image depicts a picturesque scene in the village of Oia, located on the Greek island of Santorini in the Aegean Sea. The foreground features a woman wearing a white dress and a wide-brimmed hat, standing on a narrow cobblestone street lined with whitewashed buildings with blue domed roofs, a signature architectural style of the Cycladic islands. The blue domes of the churches and their bell towers stand out against the whitewashed walls, creating a striking contrast. In the background, the rugged caldera cliffs of the volcanic island can be seen, overlooking the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea. The image captures the charming and quintessential beauty of Santorini's traditional architecture, nestled amid the island's dramatic natural landscape.

After exploring the whole island of Santorini, I highly suggest staying in Oia! This spot is about a 5 minute walk from our villa. To experience it quiet and empty: wake up for sunrise, get coffee from the only bakery open around the area (trust me, you'll keep coming back to this bakery! šŸ„ā˜•ļø), and enjoy the walk to this place!
