A scenic, ancient stone walkway ascends upwards, surrounded by lush greenery on both sides. The pathway appears to be a section of the iconic Great Wall of China, a renowned architectural marvel and UNESCO World Heritage site. The walkway is made of gray bricks laid in an intricate pattern, with crenellated walls flanking it on both sides, indicative of its defensive purpose. The vegetation, comprising trees and shrubs, adds a refreshing natural element to the historic structure. The image conveys a sense of grandeur and timelessness, inviting viewers to explore the rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes of China.

Enjoying a nice walk on The Great Wall of China. We were one of the first ones to the access point via cable car. The massive crowds started to come just a few minutes after this photo was taken. Lesson learned: get there as soon as they open and head immediately to the top! - 🇨🇳 Check out the photo before this post - the wall is different color. Some parts are brown and discolored and this area remained gray. - Thank you Herbie and @beijinglayovertour for the awesome tours during our layover in Beijing!
