A trip to Bali wouldn’t be complete without a surf sesh. 🏄 🌊 . Having a husband that surfs, I’ve learned over the years to incorporate surf days within our plans. The itinerary was completed weeks in advance, picked a surf day, and when we got to Jimbaran, it just so happens to be the day of the biggest swell of the season, and even years! 😳🙈 . We stayed at @lajoyabalangan which has the perfect access to Balangan Beach: 1km long stretch of white sand, one of the longest left-hander breaks on the island that range from 1.2 to 2 meters but were reaching 4-5 meters! . Being that it was one of the biggest swells of the season, with only a limited selection of beat up, broken, or soft top surfboards for rent, it ended up being a surf fail.
