Breakfast of your dreams!🍴✨ . Floating breakfasts in Bali has been around for over a decade but have recently been trendy in the last couple years. During our stay at @theudaya, we had the pleasure of experiencing the famed “floating breakfast” in our very own pool villa! . Tips on experiencing an awesome floating breakfast: -Get in the pool slowly to avoid any disasters! -Take a photo beforehand to know exactly where you want the floating breakfast to be. This will save some time and hopefully keep your food warm after photos. -Schedule it for the latest time. It’s best when the sun is out because that pool water is freezing in the morning! -Or just take photos on the edge of the pool where water is barely touching you haha! -Lastly, this isn’t a tip but a suggestion: please only order food you can eat. Do not let it go to waste! . While the floating breakfast is a very picturesque thing to do, the reality is it just looks neat but it was very cold for us thin blooded-islanders. Here I am holding a cup of coffee, looking relaxed while my whole body is freezing! As soon as we took our photos, we carried the tray out of the pool and ate on the side. Thankfully, the food was still warm! 😆 #theudaya #wanderlustylexindonesia . . . . .
