This friendly guy welcomed me to a nice morning surf session at Playa Hermosa beach in Costa Rica! He had no leash which led us to believe he was a stray but we realized he was waiting for his owner as he ran and chased down any surfer coming in to the beach. Little guys like this are all over Costa Rica with no leash. Even a little way down the road, at Carmen Beach, we witnessed a wild horse rolling around in the sand living his best, free life! Makes me wonder what type of society we could be if we let most “domesticated” animals roam free to most regards. Although, we would be pretty bummed if we let Bear and Blitz (our dogs) run free because knowing the rascal Blitz, he’d run away! 😂 #wanderlustylexcostarica . . . . .
