A magnificent glacier extends across the image, its towering blue-hued ice cliffs contrasting with the dark rocky mountainside in the background and the calm, reflective waters in the foreground. The glacier, likely the Margerie Glacier in Glacier Bay National Park, is a majestic sight, standing over 100 feet tall and stretching across the frame. The low-hanging clouds add an ominous and mystical atmosphere to the scene, reminiscent of the landscapes from the Game of Thrones series. This breathtaking natural wonder is a testament to the raw power and beauty of nature, with the glacier's massive scale and the ever-present rumblings from shifting ice creating a sense of awe and reverence.

📍Glacier Bay National Park This magnificant monolith stands over 100 feet tall and looked like it was straight out of Game of Thrones. With mystic, thunderous rumblings from the ice shifting and an ominous view of low clouds, all we were waiting for was the White Walker King to appear on the top. A really awesome aspect of this visit was being able to witness glacier calving (chunks of ice breaking off at the edge of the glacier). The Ship was far enough away for safety but from that distance we were told over a loud intercom that it caused at least a 20 foot / 6 meter splash. Amazing sight to behold and one of the few glaciers in the world that's actually gaining its mass. (Margerie Glacier)
