Finding Zen at Bali's Hideout
โข Finding Zen deep in the Balinese jungle. ๐ฟ
I truly enjoyed our few days here. The design of this place absolutely ๐๐ผ; every detail has been thoughtfully considered and I can definitely appreciate that.
The A-frame structure reminded me of where I grew up in the PNW, while the Japanese influences, from the meditation rooms to the fountains and decorations, added that Zen touch.
The highlight of our stay was soaking in the carved-out stone hot tub during the rain. Unlike most tubs in Bali, this one is always heated, which was AMAZING. It kinda felt like a cozy treehouse especially with its fun stairs.
I challenged myself to find some unique angles during this stay. I recently picked up the 10-18mm F4 Sony APSC lens for our A6400 and discovered you can use it on a full-frame if you zoom in to around 14mm.. I can confirm it works and captures some super fun, wide, dynamic shots.
Swipe through to see some of my favorite frames from here, and would love to know which one you like the most! ๐ฌ๐
