Photographer's Full Circle Moment at Concert

👇Full circle moment and so much more. - Not sure where to begin with this past week. @hiltongrandvacations Tournament of Champions was so many things for me. First of all, who knew I’d like golf photography so much? Itching to go play now!! Being part of the 27 person photo/video team and watching @_andreamcardona masterfully produce and organize everything was inspiring to say the least. Super grateful for the rest of the photo team, @tennismanu @ryanwendlerphotography and harrison, coaching me along as the newbie of the group - and for @ninogallego, @garyhughesofficial and @miguelquilesjr for coming to photograph with me! And to @switzerfilm @gospeedygo55 @mattbergbauer and kevin for being the video dream team that’s always about collaborating to get the best for HGV that we can. I was able to photograph countless celebs (add celebrity photographer to my resume I suppose) like @pitbull (nope - can’t actually post those backstage photos), @gitrdonegram (who couldn’t be nicer!!), @elleking, @therealalfonsoribeiro, @jeffmcneil805 (let’s go Mets!!) and @mvegapena (thanks for holding a random photographer’s hand for a pic!). And a HUGE thank you to @49ersofficialphotog for chatting through gear choices with me. You’re a huge help my friend - cheering you on all the way to the Super Bowl!!! And thanks to @canonusa for supporting me with the RF100-300 f2.8 (that I absolutely LOVE and will definitely buy next) and the RF600 F4 (that I’m not gonna lie I didn’t use as much bc the 100-300 with a 2x extender did the trick). Beyond grateful to have my Canon team, @taylorbueti and @kevinmccarthy_21, supporting me ❤️ BUT the REAL full circle moment was when @styxtheband played with @reospeedwagonofficial bc MY DAD played with Styx back in the day with Ram Jam and MY MOM photographed them. So here I am, thanks to their manager @j_powell being so nice to let us backstage and take this photo of me and @tommyshaw (who remembered my dad!) and then get to photograph them on stage just like my mom did 45 years ago (or so)… just unreal. I’ll be riding this high for quite some time!!!
